    Mr. Adelson is a Partner with Kern Augustine Conroy & Schoppmann, P.C. Mr. Adelson recently earned his Master’s Degree in the field of Homeland Security and completed his thesis entitled "How Has Our Nation's Healthcare Response Preparedness Been Altered Since 9/11.” Prior to joining Kern Augustine Conroy & Schoppmann, Mr. Adelson was a founding Partner in the Law Firm of Adelson Slater & Madison PLLC.

    With more than twenty-four years of experience, Mr. Adelson has practiced in the areas of Healthcare Law and Litigation. He concentrates in the fields of Professional Discipline, Insurance Audits, Fraud and Abuse, Refund Requests and Healthcare Litigation. He has lectured at numerous hospitals on a wide range of health law issues including, fraud and abuse, medical records, confidentiality of protected health information, employment contract negotiations, and licensure issues related to interviews and hearings with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

    Mr. Adelson is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Southern District, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Mr. Adelson is a member of the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Adelson is a member of the Health and Hospital Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
